My Approach & Treatment Process

Evidence-based, collaborative, and personalized care

1. Initial Evaluation (60 minutes)

Our journey begins with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation where I take time to understand your symptoms, history, and goals. We'll discuss your diagnosis and review all treatment options, including the benefits and potential side effects of medications. Together, we'll create a personalized treatment plan that fits your needs and preferences.

2. Treatment Planning

I integrate evidence-based psychopharmacology with collaborative care principles. Your experience will be personalized, compassionate, and focused on your goals. We'll work as partners - I provide expertise and recommendations, you provide insight into what works for you. Treatment is practical and results-oriented.

3. Follow-Up Care (20-30 minutes)

Follow-up appointments focus on monitoring your progress, adjusting medications as needed, and ensuring your treatment is working effectively. I coordinate with your therapist if you're in counseling to provide integrated care. Appointments are scheduled based on your needs - often every 2-4 weeks initially, then less frequently as you stabilize.
